Weekend Agenda
Friday School and Picture Day: I’m not on the schedule to teach today. I’ll take the boys to the church where we have our chapel and gymn at 8:30 for school pictures. After that, I’ll drop them off at our church and I’m free until about 1:30 pm.
Blood Work: In advance of my appointment with my nephrologist (kidney doctor)on Wednesday, I’ll have blood drawn to have my levels checked. It has always been a bit difficult for them to find a good vein to draw blood and sometimes I have to be stuck twice or more and sometimes they have to dig around. I would appreciate any prayers to that end (that they won’t have trouble).
Butterfinger Pie: Tonight I am going to a birthday party and I am bringing a Butterfinger Pie. I’ve never made one before but the recipe is super easy and who doesn’t like Butterfinger’s? It will be fun to have a girls night!
Pecans: Tomorrow my friend Kitty, who is a potter, is having her umpteenth annual Open House tomorrow at her log cabin. The boys and I are taking some of our pecans to sell. I’ve been picking them up this week and have had a good amount but the true “mother lode” hasn’t arrived yet. We’ll have a lot of fun – hope it doesn’t rain.
Have you ever tried a Snickers pie? I have once, it is SOOOOOOOOOOO yummy. Very rich, too. I’ll have to try the Butterfinger Pie, that sounds like another good one.
Oh, butterfinger pie sounds good! I made a butterfinger cake a while back.
