A Plethora Of Pecans

pleth⋅o⋅ra  [pleth-er-uh]
–noun
1. overabundance; excess.

I had to look it up to make sure I had it right – and I did!  Saturday morning we woke up ready to go sell our pecans at my friends open house.  Dick told me he thought there would be plenty of pecans in the yard that morning because of the storm the night before (I never heard a thing).  We went out to look and ended up picking up 13 pounds – it was incredible!  Yesterday we went out to look and picked up 3 pounds after about 15 minutes of looking – and quit when our company arrived; I’m thinking there’s quite a bit more out there.  I never knew I would have so much fun picking them up.  I hope my family likes pecans!!
