Ultrasound
Yesterday I went to ECM Hospital to have the ultrasound on both of my arms. They were mapping my veins to see which arm would be the best one to use for the fistula placement – I am hoping for the left arm.
It was a very easy appointment; after I assured them that I would indeed somehow pay my bill, they gave me directions to the Echo department. I only had a little sleep the night before so I almost went to sleep while I laid there. The gel that they smeared all over my arms was warm but cooled off rather quickly. After about 45 minutes I was through.
Today I have an appointment with the nephrologist. He will go over my blood work and have me watch some videos about, I am assuming, dialysis.
Praying for the appointment today! When is it??
