Headed For The Weekend
All my internet friends are talking about how cold it is everywhere. I think Pattie might have it the coldest in North Dakota; although maybe not (Michael, how cold is it in Maine?). I know that for me in North Alabama, it is pretty dang cold. The forecast said the low was 7 degrees and I personally saw it get down to 10 degrees. Brrrrr!!! We’ve warmed up to a toasty 23 degrees right now (we may have some snow on Sunday!).
Today we had Friday school, back from our winter break. They love being around their friends and all the activities we find ourselves doing on Friday’s. I wasn’t on schedule so I came back home thinking I would get a lot done but by the time I did an exchange and just unwound for 30 minutes, I had to head back. While the boys had their last activity of the day, I worked on my 2nd 9 weeks evaluation forms and work samples for both boys and turned those in – so I am on schedule!
Tonight we are just going to chill. We’ll go out to dinner which is our usual Friday night custom and then maybe watch some television before bed. I’m ready now. Tomorrow is Delaney’s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese so you know the boys are looking forward to that (Delaney is my sister Jennifer’s little girl). Till next time…
when you wrote this, we were at about 0 with a wind chill of -20. it’s a little warmer now, but we’re in the middle an insane “winter storm.” it’s a lot of fun–!
