School Supplies!
Today I went out and bought the items I need to start school next Monday. They were completely out of contact paper and out of the 10 cent composition books. I guess there is already a rush on those! It was fun getting the stuff I needed and the boys can hardly wait to get started. William kind of drools when he sees new paper and colored pencils, LOL! Ok – so do I!! I found some great blank books for their nature journals at the Dollar Tree. They are pink though so we are going to do something about that!!
We are going to do our time line this year in the hallway and over the weekend Dick decided I ought to have a nice surface to work on. So, he gets out his putty knife and sprayer and starts puling down 2 layers of awful 80’s wallpaper. I got in on the action too – it was kind of fun to see wallpaper peel off so easily – and good riddance I say!! I hope this gives him the remodeling bug – actually there is a lot he wants to do but there are only so many hours in the day. He’s going to pain the hall this week. He pulled down the chair railing too because, as he says, he didn’t like it. I will share some before and after pictures as we go along.

LOL We sound alike. Last night I was reading through the Adventures manual with a pad next to me making a list of supplies I would need. “Hmmm our markers are kinda old, we could use more construction paper, do we have enough paint…” I think I could buy all of Staples myself!
